Staff is very friendly at this salon. To their credit, they did not push their makeup line on me. After seeing their promotion on Groupon, I called to inquire about the required consultation prior to laser hair removal. I was informed they would honour Groupon prices, so I didn't purchase the Groupon deal. However, there seems to be a bait and switch regarding size of area being treated . So beware!I did agree for treatment of chin and front of neck as a large area. Same as legs or upper back apparently! Who knew!After initial consultation, treatment takes about 45-60 seconds. Not painful at all. I paid for 6 sessions , which will occur 6 weeks apart. So I am looking at 8 months for treatment. Takes me into the middle of summer. During that time, I am not to tweeze or wax. That is a long time to have an embarrassingly ugly, stubbly, hairy chin! Not pretty......Hopefully, after a few sessions, hair will begin to diminish.In hindsight, if I had known how long this would take, or the conditions required to get there, I would not have paid the money ($250). I would have explored other options , or continued tweezing. Stay tuned for updates as I progress!
I did hair removal and teeth whitening: Hair removal: I bought the groupon for laser hair removal, but it was for the wrong size area (my mistake). They allowed me to upgrade to the proper size at the groupon price right in the shop :D They are great there, and make me feel super comfortable! I have had 2 of the laser hair treatments now and regrowth has already started to lessen a bit so I am feeling confident about how it will be after 6. I can update at that time.Teeth Whitening: This takes half an hour and a gel tooth cup is placed on your teeth with a light pointed into it. They gsure I was nice and comfy, and the results were great! They were pretty yellow to begin with, but got several shades whiter (4-6). I will probably go back again for one more session.
The hair removal treatments did not work for me, and there is no flexibility to re-purpose unused sessions for another treatment and no refund. Customer satisfaction is constrained by Enlighten's corporate rules.I understand that I signed the waiver and fine print that nobody reads, but I still don't expect businesses to hide behind this to avoid making a customer happy when something doesn't work.
I have had laser hair removal and have great success.I have had 7 sessions and I feel the next should be my last . Jackie always made me feel comfortable during my sessions. Very professional. I have had the teeth whitening also, with some sucess. I had hoped to see better results but at least there was some improvement. I recommend Enlighten Laser Bedford location , Vickie at reception is very friendly and if she doesnt have an answer to your question she will get back to you. Linda
