The room key stopped working both nights we were there but the staff fixed it very quickly
Very nice hotel! Rooms were beautiful and very clean, and Dwayne at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating with our rooms and with suggestions on what to see/do in the area. Great restaurant next door was convenient! The only downside was the rooms were not very soundproof so we could hear kids running around a few rooms over- pretty late at night too. But overall, we would definitely stay again!
Room condition was fair for the price. Bed is comfortable enough. Receptionist was very helpful and told us where to get good food and things to see as we are tourists. The only issue was that the curtain blocks the AC, very poor design. We had to manually fold the curtain and use water bottles to stop it from blocking the AC. Also, water temperature adjustment was super sensitive. You can get either very cold or very hot water by miss alignment of submilimeter.
This was a very dissapointing accommodation... It must have been an old howard johnson but the signs for that are still on many of the doors which is kind of lazy. The linen had cigarette burn marks but room was "non smoker". Lamp shades were battered. Faucets werent working. Building overall has not aged well. When my mom went to discuss this with one of the staff, she was told that by law she could call the cops and have our family kicked out in 10 minutes.I hope this establishment can make necessary improvements because there is potential but overall disappointing
We just stayed there for two days . The room was dirty no toiletries broke light shade just hanging on very dangerous. Cigarette burn in the bedding floors where not vacuumed candy and a cigarette lighter on floor. We always stayed there when we went to Halifax but we will never stay there again the steps have that many trip hazzards they take your money and don't put any back in there business DO NOT STAY IN THIS DUMP. OUTDATED AND DIRTY. Only thing is good is location.
