I feel really bad with the experience of my daughter's preschool which is she used to attend. The name of the preschool is Mosaic Montessori Academy preschool. The reason for my dissatisfaction is that the Mosaic Montessori preschool has kept $300 child care subsidy for themselves and refused to give it back to me. The truth is the Government sent $1200 to the preschool as the support to the parents in need, but for me, I only got $900 from the preschool! I have all the supported documents include the proof letter from the Government! The owner of the preschool named Mr. Ali said this money is not for my child and they will give it back to the Government of Alberta. But as I know from the Government (I have called the Child care subsidy department several times, and they told me that the money don't need to be returned).I have got the stay at home Child care subsidy from January to December in 2016, and the government paid all the $1200 in three month (March, April, May). The Mosaic Montessori preschool told me that the Government sent $100 each month to them. Because there is no class in the preschool in July and August, and I have withdrawn my daughter from the preschool by the end of November, so the preschool kept $300 for those three months (July, August, December) and said they will return those money back to the Government. Because I have called the Government and have been told that this $300 don't need to be returned, so I have talked this with Mr. Ali, but he is so rude and said: he has nothing to do with it and hung up the phone. I felt that I have been fooled and very disappointed. I believe this is not the only case that happened in this preschool. The Government usually gives parents 12 months subside once they have got approval, but this Mosaic Montessori preschool only have ten months classes per year. I know there are two more families that have encountered the same issue. The Alberta Childcare subsidy is supposed to be financial assistance for the families in need and we are so appreciative to the Government of Alberta. I am writing this because I want to tell all the families the truth, the financial support is supposed to go to the right place for the families in need, but not into the pockets of Mr. Ali. I believe that is the purpose of this subsidy to assist children and will have nothing to say if the preschool has really returned the $300 to the Government of Alberta. However, this not the case and in fact, Mr. Ali has kept the $300 for his preschool (and himself).I don't know which department of the Government of Alberta has the power to intervene and stop or monitor the growing problem of monies meant for children are being kept by Mr. Ali and the Mosaic Montessori preschool. Under these circumstances, this is the only way I can find, I believe this is a growing problem with this preschool and my $300 will seem small once investigation of all funds withheld by Mr. Ali are financially accounted for. The total amount of Alberta Childcare funds withheld by Mr. Ali for the last 6 years since Mosaic Montessori preschool opened business here in Calgary will be substantially high. Thank you for reading!

My family and I love Mosaic Montessori Academy and we are so fortunate to have found them! My son has been in the program since he was almost 3 and will be graduating and going into Grade 1 this year. I cant say enough wonderful things about this school and their teachersSome great positives are:- An excellent child to teacher ratio (one of the lowest Ive found in our area)- Loving and wonderful teachers who lavish care and attention to each child. - A welcoming environment (this school is so much like a big family rather than the institutional feel that some of the big preschools have)- The parents at the school are so welcoming and helpful. We even have a whatsapp group where we coordinate birthday parties, and setup playdates! - Engaging Montessori curriculum (a wonderful curriculum of arts, science, math, reading, singing, and life skills). My child is extremely well rounded for his age. Not only were his academics above average but he also showed all the other wonderful life skills Montessori teaches. This was one of the reasons that he was accepted into a very selective and competitive for his Grade 1 school. Im so proud and excited for him!Being transplants to the City, we struggled with finding a school for my son as he had never previously been in any group school environment with other children. He went from shy and quiet to a bright and curious boy with many friends and a love of reading! We could not believe the difference being at Mosaic Montessori has made for him and our family. We are so happy here and cant wait for our younger child to start soon! Thank you Mosaic!

Making the decision to send our kids to Mosaic has been the best thing we could have done for them. Since joining in September 2017, they have progressed immensely in all areas of Montessori. The teachers and all of the staff are friendly, accommodating, and show a genuine interest in the children. Mr and Mrs Ali have been exceptionally helpful throughout the entire process as well. Im so thankful to have found a school that truly exemplifies the true meaning of Montessori. I'm confident that our kids will have a solid foundation for future learning thanks to Mosaic Montessori

Our daughter has attended Mosaic Montessori Academy in Calgary since she was 2 1/2 years old. We cannot say enough good things about the teachers and staff at this school. She has grown into a respectful, fun loving and smart little girl during her years at Mosaic. The teachers at this school no doubt had a great impact on her learning, development and success. We are sad to see her leave this school but know she is prepared to enter Grade 1 as an exceptional student. We have great appreciation for the staff and teachers for their hard work and dedication! The Cheema family

My daughter has been attending the Beddington campus for the past couple of years and she has become more independent and learned so many things since we started. We've been very fortunate to have Ms.Maria as her teacher. They have been very supportive of her needs and cognizant of her abilities. Would really recommend this school and teacher!
